5 days to 40. what have i done?

i just looked back at my CV and realized that in the 25 years that i’ve been dancing “professionally” i’ve done a lot.

and it makes me happy to spend time with these little lines of text as they represent moments and times in my life that i have very little record of other than the memory and some physical residue that still resides in my dancing body.

“professionally” is in quotes b/c i was only 15 but i did start dancing w/ a local company in my home town when i was 17. so i think of my career starting then.

even though i started dance classes not long after i started walking.

so 40 is next week.

a look back at the wild and wonderful things that i’ve experienced and accomplished by dancing through my life.

here’s to the next 40 yah!
